Each year, the Sam Fox School presents its Outstanding Teaching Awards to two Sam Fox School faculty members in recognition of significant contributions to the School through exemplary teaching. Award recipients each receive a faculty development award of $2,500.
All Sam Fox School teaching personnel are eligible to be nominated. To be considered for the award, faculty must be nominated by at least 5 Sam Fox School students, staff, and/or faculty. The nomination statement should articulate why the faculty member is deserving of recognition. Nominations, which are typically accepted each spring, will be reviewed by the deans of Architecture, Art, and the Sam Fox School.
