Amy Talluto

Biography 

Amy Talluto earned her BFA in Painting & Photography at Washington University in St. Louis in 1995, and her MFA at the School of Visual Arts in New York in 2001. She has had two recent solo shows at Black & White Gallery - Brooklyn, in April 2011, and at Packer Schopf Gallery – Chicago, in January 2009. Previous shows include a two-person exhibition at PS 122 Gallery - New York and several group shows, including exhibitions at Black & White Gallery, Jen Bekman Gallery, Gallery Satori, and the Abrons Art Center in New York; the Kentler International Drawing Center and Metaphor Contemporary Art in Brooklyn; the Glyndor Gallery at Wave Hill Gardens in the Bronx; MP5 Gallery in Portland, OR; and the Kelinert/James Art Center in Woodstock, NY.

Talluto has been invited to be an artist-in-residence at the following programs: Woodstock Byrdcliffe Guild (Pollock-Krassner Fellow 2008; Ginsberg Fellow 2009), Vermont Studio Center, and the Ucross Foundation – Ucross, WY.

She currently lives in Upstate New York with her husband and baby son, Steve.
