Christopher Ottinger

Biography

Christopher Ottinger is a multimedia artist whose work investigates chance, sound ontology, and synesthesia through sculpture, installation, painting, and video. A native of St. Louis, Ottinger came to Washington University after spending 12 years in Chicago, where he earned a BA from Columbia College Chicago in Film/Video and worked at the motion picture lab Filmworkers/Astro on many high-profile projects, including Batman: The Dark Knight.
