Two defining experiences that I have had while in graduate school at Washington University in St. Louis are participating in a teaching program in rural India during the summer of 2009 and spending a semester abroad in Seoul, South Korea, in the fall of 2009. Both experiences have deepened my appreciation for cultures different from my own. I believe that as an architect you have to be versatile in all aspects of the profession and have an open mind toward change and innovation. The world is growing smaller and smaller every day.
