Class of 2020 University Commencement Ceremonies

As long as conditions in the region remain favorable, the University will be able to proceed with holding in-person Commencement ceremonies to celebrate the Class of 2020 on Sunday, May 30, at Francis Olympic Field on the Danforth Campus. Due to limitations on gatherings and crowd sizes, the University is hosting multiple, smaller ceremonies as follows:

8:30-10a: Class of 2020 Undergraduate Students (Last Names Alpha A-K)
12-1:30p: Class of 2020 Undergraduate Students (Last Names Alpha L-Z)
3:30-5p: Class of 2020 Graduate Students

Special Policies & Protocols

The University is taking numerous precautions to ensure the safety of all who choose to attend the in-person Commencement ceremony, including adherence to COVID-19 safety protocols. These measures including the following:

- There will be a maximum of 500 graduates at each ceremony.
- Graduates will be permitted to invite up to two guests each to campus to view the ceremonies. All guests will be required to register, and physical distancing will be observed in the viewing areas.
- You may attend the in-person ceremonies even if you have not yet received the COVID-19 vaccine. However, all students and guests are asked to significantly limit their interactions with others 14 days prior to the Commencement ceremonies. This includes staying at home as much as possible, wearing a mask if you must be in contact with anyone outside your home, and keeping at least six feet of distance between yourself and others outside of your family.
