Anova Lecture for Landscape Architecture: Günther Vogt

Günther Vogt, founding director of Vogt Landscape Architects in Zurich (with branch offices in Berlin, London, and Paris), will deliver the annual Anova Lecture for Landscape Architecture.

Born in Balzers, Principality of Liechtenstein, in 1957, Vogt became internationally known through projects such as the exterior of the Tate Modern in London, the Allianz Arena football stadium in Munich, and the Masoala Hall in the Zurich Zoo. He has been a professor at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich since 2005. In 2010, he opened Case Studio VOGT, which serves as a platform for research and exhibitions. In 2012 he was a visiting professor at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. In the same year he was awarded the Prix Meret Oppenheim of the Federal Office of Culture.
