Christof Jantzen (AIA, NCARB, LEED) is a candidate for the newly established I-CARES professorship within the College of Architecture and the Graduate School of Architecture & Urban Design.

Jantzen is a founding partner of Behnisch Architects in the United States. His current work includes the Park Street Laboratory Building for the Yale-New Haven Hospital, the "House of the Future" at IIT, and the Anna Head Student Housing Project at UC Berkeley. 

Under Christof's leadership, Behnisch Architects' first U.S. project, the Genzyme Center in Cambridge MA, received a LEED Platinum rating from the US Green Building Council (USGBC).  This project has been published around the globe, and recognized as one of the most innovative sustainable architectural projects of our time.
