Parabola: Salon

February 5, 2021 - March 6, 2021
Des Lee Gallery, 1627 Washington Ave.

The Des Lee Gallery is pleased to present PARABOLA: SALON, an exhibition that aims to contextualize all fields of creative study at Washington University in St. Louis as inherently creative fields of study. Parabola stands as our graduate student platform to extend our professional interests and connect with each other's fields of understanding, production, and knowledge. PARABOLA: SALON is a show of our work: our research, our writing, our data, our passion. This year's salon-style show facilitates viewership at a time of distance. The exhibition is organized by the Graduate Art Organization.

All graduate students across the University are encouraged to submit their work, and all types of work are welcome. In the past beautiful works have been submitted from different types of research: films of scientific studies of combustions, architectural renderings, strange biological worlds that we don’t see everyday, journal logs that create beautiful drawings, paintings made to not think about research, and now the piles of drawings we make while on Zoom.

Submit up to 6 images of finished works or proposals of an idea you would like to show; the submission deadline is December 18, 2020. Work will be due at the end of January 2021. Questions? Contact:
