Theory of Nothing

In Theory of Nothing, Carmon Colangelo, dean of the Sam Fox School, presents his eighth solo show with St. Louis' Bruno David Gallery.

Exploring notions of connectivity, chance, and disruption in the age of social media, the exhibition features new prints inspired by travel and cartography; by Colangelo's recording of the everyday; and by other musings about the studio as a place of contemplation, production, making, and play. Featured is a new body of work in which Colangelo, also the School's E. Desmond Lee Professor for Collaboration in the Arts, uses discarded laser off-cuts from architectural models as "ready-made" printing plates.

Theory of Nothing remains on view through May 21. An accompanying catalog will be released by Bruno David Gallery Publications. The gallery is located at 3721 Washington Blvd. For more information, call 314.531.3030 or visit
