Chloe West



Chloe West is a visual artist based in St. Louis. West earned her BFA from the University of Wyoming and her MFA from Washington University in St. Louis in 2017. West’s work has been exhibited internationally in solo and group shows at PM/AM (London), UNIT (London), Projects+Gallery (St. Louis), Monaco (St. Louis), and Practise (Oak Park, IL), among others. West’s work has been featured in Booooooom, Arts in Square, and Silverspace, and she is the recipient of the 2021 Creative Stimulus Award from Critical Mass for the Visual Arts.

West creates figurative paintings that examine the complex history of the body within the art historical canon. Guided heavily by her upbringing and surroundings in Wyoming, West’s paintings explore the human body in relation to the spaces that it occupies.
