The Sommerakademie is a seminar-based course that explores multiple modes of creative and cultural production in relation to the material, social, and cultural conditions of Berlin, Germany.
Museum Exhibition
MFA students work with the curatorial staff at the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum in the preparation and installation of their thesis work in an annual museum exhibition.
Diverse Artists and Critics
Each year, we invite prominent artists to our campus for lectures, workshops, and residencies, including Shimon Attie, Diana Al-Hadid, Dave Hullfish Bailey, Hasan Elahi, Coco Fusco, and Wangechi Mutu.
The Graduate School of Art offers several full-tuition fellowships and scholarships, as well as partial-tuition remission scholarships.
