The Taipei Music Center by Reiser+Umemoto is featured in the January 2022 issue of Architectural Record. “Producing a winning competition entry is one thing, but building it is another,” says professor of practice Nanako Umemoto, a founding principal of the firm.

In this Beyond Boundaries podcast, undergraduate students Victoria Xu (Sam Fox School) and Alicia Yang (Arts & Sciences) discuss their Creative Collaborations project, for which they intend to create a highly accessible booklet to help connect unhoused individuals with essential services. “It’s not that we’re doing something for someone,” says Yang, “it’s more like, we are here sharing this city together, so let’s work together to make this a safe space and home for all of us.”
