Our summer Pre-College Programs are geared specifically to high school students. These two programs—Portfolio Plus (art) and Architecture Discovery Program—give students the opportunity to develop skills that are fundamental to the fields of architecture, art, and design while producing work in a real studio.

What You Can Expect


Receive virtual synchronous (in real time) instruction from WashU faculty.
Work with course materials mailed to each student.
Take part in intensive, daily college-level courses.
Be mentored by current WashU undergraduate students.
Attend workshops on portfolio preparation and college admissions.
Learn new tools and techniques.
Present your work in a final critique and virtual public exhibition.
Earn college credit.
