Andrea Moon



Andrea Moon is a contemporary ceramic artist and sculptor. She pursues her studio practice and is a lecturer in ceramics at Washington University in St. Louis. In addition to teaching ceramics, Moon exhibits nationally and internationally. She participates in panel discussions and presents lectures and workshops, actively contributing to the dialog of contemporary practices in craft. She served as the residency and communications coordinator of The Red Lodge Clay Center, the director of the international artist residency at The Pottery Workshop in Jingdezhen, China, and the director of education at Craft Alliance. Moon believes in supporting an active arts community and cultivating a creative environment for students and emerging artists.
