Media Studio (Weil Hall) is home to Time Based + Media Art (TBMA) BFA in studio art concentration.

Media Studio is a dedicated and specialized digital environment that serves as the area classroom. TBMA area program offers BFA in studio art concentration courses in video art, sound art, performance art – referred to as Time-Based Art Practice courses - as well as a variety of elective courses and seminars that cover topics ranging from media histories to experimental digital and analogue technologies employed by contemporary artists working today.

Outside of class time Media Studio serves as a dedicated critique space for TBMA area students and faculty. Fridays are designated as lab time for currently enrolled students. As part of Media Studio space, a dedicated room (Editing Studio) is shared by all TBMA area majors. Media Studio cannot be reserved for classes or events that are not part of the TBMA program.
